Question 11 - IMF and World Bank

Hey all,

I emailed Ivanova for some additional clarification on this question and what she is looking for re IMF and World Bank. She said we can talk definitely talk about the structural adjustment programs, and should concentrate how roles of IMF and World Bank have changed during/post Bretton Woods. Can anyone explain how their role has changed post-Bretton Woods? I'm not sure we have covered that, and haven't been able to find it in the readings thus far...would it just have to do with the fixed exchange rate vs. now no fixed exchange rate?? (that is my only real guess)
